• Guidebook: Connecting the Region with Transit (5.68 MB): Connecting the Region with Transit is a guidebook that was recently developed through a partnership between FDOT District 5 and the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council. This guidebook is intended to be an idea book for local governments that are looking to implement Central Florida's 2050 Regional Growth Vision. As such, it includes examples of innovative, Vision-supportive practices that currently exist in the Central Florida region as well as ideas from outside Florida. The guidebook was designed to be graphics-oriented and visually interesting so that it can be readily accessed and understood by the planners, elected officials, and other parties who play a role in implementation of the Vision.
